How You can help

Pray faithfully for the SCM jail ministry

Allow us to come to your church or organization to hear firsthand about SCM

Encourage your church members to become SCM volunteers

Humbly we say: Give financially, and include SCM in your church offerings or missions budget

Help in the office or with events

 

Become a SCM Volunteer

Contact the SCM office or download the application form

Be a Christian and an active member of a church over the age of 18

Be free of probations and incarcerations for at least three years

Complete and application with two personal references, plus a pastoral reference

Participate in an interview with the SCM Director then the facility chaplain

Complete facility application and associated training

For those called by God to go into the jails, this is a mentoring ministry. It is personal contact with inmates with the intent to drastically reduce recidivism through instilling spiritual and moral character.
